The Avro Lancaster was a heavy bomber aircraft. It was made by Avro for the British Royal Air Force (RAF). It was affectionately known as "Lanc" or "Lankie".
This 7-seat heavy bomber flew nightly missions on German targets from mid-1942 until VE-Day. This aircraft could carry the Grand Slam, the heaviest bomb of all weighing 22,000 lbs.
It is hand made by master craftsmen as they worked from the exact blueprint of the original aircraft so the Avro Lancaster RAF model will result to its complete replica.
