Other Sole Treadmill Comparison Reviews
Side-By-Side Review
The Sole F83 and the Sole S73 are really two very similar treadmills with very similar specs. They’re also just priced $100 apart with the Sole F83 treadmill being the slightly more expensive of the two. But sometimes, being more expensive doesn’t necessarily equate to being better. In this comparison review between the Sole F83 treadmill and the Sole S73 treadmill, I’ll show you why.
If you look at these two treadmills, there really are very few differences. In fact, the following bulleted points just about sums it up.
- The Sole F83 treadmill is $100 more expensive than the Sole S73 treadmill as already mentioned.
- The Sole F83 is a folding treadmill whereas the Sole S73 is not.
- The Sole F83’s running surface is 2 inches shorter than the Sole S73 measuring in at 20’ X 58’. The Sole S73 measures at 20’ X 60’.
It is fairly typical for a treadmill to cost $100 more for a version that folds so when you see the folding Sole F83 selling for $100 more than the non-folding Sole S73, it is considered fairly priced. But the Sole S73 has the added benefit of being 2 inches longer and $100 cheaper! If you’re not in desperate need of the folding feature that the Sole F83 comes with, it’s obvious which treadmill is the better choice.
So it comes down to this. If folding is a must have, then the obvious choice is to get the Sole F83. If folding isn’t a necessity, save yourself some money and get the Sole 73. Expert testing and the spec sheet would indicate that they’re identical so there’s no point in paying for more.
