People who are new to selling online make two mistakes. The first mistake is
searching on search engine such as Google and Yahoo to find wholesale suppliers,
second is to believe that those so-called wholesalers and drop shippers that do
come up in results are actually legit. If you do not believe me - how many true
wholesalers have you found so far?
Here is how you will know the
difference. If they promise you products served on the platter - run as fast as
you can! However, if they represent themselves as database of wholesalers, you
might have a chance. Please notice the word might, because there are some scams
out there.
In addition, did you know that most eBay sellers use only one
Database for their wholesale suppliers.
First and most importantly, if
the product is selling, it does not mean it is profitable product! The success
of your business will depend on that sentence. A lot of people think that if a
listing has a lot of bids, it is making that seller a profits. Not necessarily.
Maybe that particular person just needs to get rid of inventory and they are
cutting down prices.
Second, if you are looking for top brand name
products to resell online, you are probably out of luck. Sony, Microsoft, Gucci,

owners, unless those business owners meet their requirements. If you need
products from those companies, you would have to contact them directly.
Occasionally you may find some of those products on liquidation and excess
inventory, but this is not the way to grow your business. It is only a temporary
solution.
However, most small successful eBay business owners do not
concentrate on top brand name products! They are looking for niche products. And
basically what that means is other brand names that to me and you may not be
recognizable, but to people who are searching for it, they are. That is where
you can make money and decent profits.
In the end, for you to be
successful, you need to know how to
research profitable products than you need to learn how to quickly find
wholesale suppliers using that database to quickly find suppliers. It does not
matter how many suppliers you have, what matters is that they have profitable
product for you to sell.
