I was recently asked by a family member about weight loss… the person wanted to know how to lose fat in legs.
The leg area is no different from any other muscle group. Girls want slimmer, toned legs with out "cottage cheese", guys want muscle definition, to say
the least. But, the fact is, as you may have heard, “killer legs are made in
the kitchen”. This is a cold hard fact that some people either do not
believe or do not want to believe. How to lose fat in legs is no different than how to lose stomach
fat or arm fat. It’s all fat and it’s not going to magically disappear. If there was, we’d be even more lazy
than we already are, which is hard to believe.
How to lose fat in legsconsists of the following:
- Eating more often, yet eating smaller meals will help speed up your
metabolism. Larger meals will reverse everything you work so hard on…
try your best to NOT eat large meals.
- Drink plenty of water throughout the day as this helps flush body
fat and keeps you hydrated. I suggest 8-10 glasses a day, depending on
how much exercise you accomplish… sometimes more water, but not too
much.
- Walking has been scientifically proven to be one of the most
effective means of weight loss. In 2002, I had lost 50 Lbs. by eating
more smaller meals, walking 2 times a day and drinking plenty of water…
all within 3 months!
- When you start working out more, make sure your body gets plenty of
rest. Especially if you’re taking part in weight training. Your body
needs rest…
