Offered is an incredible relic, signed by whom many consider to be the greatest hitter of all time, Tyrus Cobb.

This sphere is an Official American League baseball, William Harridge Stamped, dating to the late 40's/early 50's. Many Cobb singles that exist are inscribed to someone, and rarely do you see one available for sale which is not. The ball shows some uneven toning and handling throughout the years with a technical grade of excellent. The signature is an extremely solid rendering, easily a '9' in strength. Multi-signed balls with Cobb can be found with due dilligence, but a single-signed example such as this one is highly scarce.
