Gulmarg situated at an altitude of 8,700 feet, Gulmarg recenetly hosted a three-day festival of snow and sports. The Gulmarg snow festival was started in 2003 to promote sinter sports and tourism in the small town. The festival has been a great attraction ever since. Each year, Gulmarg gets hundreds of sports and adventure lovers, honeymoon couples and other tourists visit to experience the magic and thrill here.
