I bought this sled off a guy I know,he bought it new and saw that I
sold my sled and thought that I could sell his too. This sled is in far
better conditon than mine was in and has half the miles, 1254 miles,
its hardly broken in. He decided to sell to me since I said I was
getting out of the sport and he snowmobiles less than I do. So
he probably won't find the time to use it and has decided to get out of
the sport. This has a studded track with 192 studs, It also has a
snowmobile helmet hookup . The sled has always been dealer maintained
and has 1254 miles, It looks to be in very good condition although it
does have a very small rub on the side and I discovered that the
windshield has a crack in it, it still looks great, so you be the
judge. The sled was always keep in a covered trailer and has a yamaha
cover that goes with it. If you have any other questions on it let me
know. this was a $8000 snowmobile when it was new and he has kept it
stock except for the studs, it runs great, the carbide runners are in
good condition and I would not think of replacing them, I believe they
are 8" carbides. I think the asking price is very fair for a sled with
these low miles. The 2001 SRX was the fastest stock snowmobile ever
tested by any magazine, and believe me this one is fast, not as fast as
the one I used to have but pretty close. Please don't ask about
shipping as shippers get too much for their services, unless you have a
friend in the business, you will end up paying too much and taking away
from the value of the sled. Thanks for looking.
I did some checking as to the maintenance of this machine and
discovered that it needed new slides, so I went and purchased a set
and installed them today. I also bought a new set of NGK plugs for the
new owner. This sled is now ready to rock. Isn't it time to reward
yourself with a really nice christmas present, you deserve it.
